I am so f***ing angry right now.

Dear NTL

I am sick and tired of being a customer of yours.

I am sick of the endless waits on the phone only to be cut off or for my call to not be answered.
I am sick of being passed around department to department.
I am sick of the bullshit excuses given when things go wrong and the complete lack of action taken,.
I am sick of your engineers not turning up when they’re supposed to.
I am sick of taking time off for engineers to not show up.
I am sick of calling again and again and again and getting nowhere.
I am sick of having to set an hour free to call you just to get a small problem solved.
I am sick of your customer disservice.
I am sick of your ‘improvements’ to the TV services that don’t work and are worse than the shitty service I had before.
I am sick of your prices hikes for this pile of shite.
I am sick of your lack of respect for me as your customer.
I am sick of you being the only company from whom I can get a TV picture.

I am sick of dealing with NTL full stop.
You are putting me through hell.

Try complaining about them to the Guardian's consumer column. They seem to get things done for those that do.

I might just do that.

I was so annoyed with them today, I nearly threw their cable box out of the window. But then I'd have no broadband and that would be no good!

I have sent them the above complaint.

Good. Hope they get their act together, though have to admit, have never heard much good about them.

No neither am I. I hate hate hate them, but it would cost me a fortune to get Sky. If I have to move soon then I won't sign back up with them.

My sister, who lives in Milton Keynes, approached NTL to give her a cable connection, and they didn't even appear to want her custom. Weird.

I'm suprized they have any customers at all, frankly.

It wouldn't matter if this was the first time, but it happens again and again.

No, sadly not. They couldn't even cancel my second phone without taking an hour and two calls.

Hello there,
Sorry I caught you in a bad mood. Cable (am I right here?) people are evil. I think it's universal that they provide bad service. I've been there and done that (the waiting, the anger, etc.) so I'm sympathetic.

Anyway, just wanted you to know that I just read your fic "Working My Way Back to You". It's fantastic. I said I wouldn't follow any more WIPs but I couldn't resist. I hope you don't mind but I've friended you. Thanks and hope the waiting ends soonish.

Kako :)

It's okay, I'm better now. Well past the throwing things across the room stage! Yes, they're cable. I'm tired banging my head against a brick wall with them. But I have to have them as I'm stuck behind a hill and I can't get any other TV reception.

Friend away. Very pleased you like the fic (I'm feeling a little under-appreciated lately). Out of curiousity, where did you find it?

Actually, I saw your name on a friend of a friend list and remembered that I had read a story of yours a while back. I believe it was "Sunspots".

I think I found it through _wisteria's lj when I used to lurk there. I thought that your writing was really good and I always meant to get to your other stuff. Then I forgot. But I found you again! Yay!

I know that feeling!

Sunspots got a lot of attention, probably because I wrote it for her.

I cant believe how insencertive they can be, I was going to join, as I heard what great deals they have. Im thinking its not a good idea now >.<

I hope it all gets sorted out babes.

the customer is always right ;)

here's my final new lj dark_le _fae I made it for other reasons, your see when you get there ;) maybe im just addicted.

the customer is always right
If only the customer could get through to them to tell them that.

dark_le_fae? How many alter-ego's do you need? ;)
