This seems as good a time as any, which must have been what the Council thought when then sent out their flat maintenance bills to arrive on Christmas Eve. An £81 demand makes a wonderful Christmas present. Thanks Dacorum!

Merry Christmas to both of you as well! Hope you have a fantastic day!

Merry Christmas to you too.

I really liked the card you sent us, by the way. And Tegan is a real cutey.

I can't remember which card you had as I made them all different. I remember it was square though!

Have a great day!

Thank you! Have a great day!

Such a pretty kitty...Have a great holiday, both of you!

She poses nicely. I hope you had a good day in the circumstances.

Merry Christmas!

Hope yours is better than mine. We've been snowed in and unable to get out for 3 days, and will probably be stuck for at least 2 more. I think we'll be having Chicken Noodle soup for our Christmas dinner.

That doesn't bother me a lot, as I'm not big on the holiday family thing, but we're also getting power outages that last anywhere from 5 minutes to a few hours. Those gifts, I could do without.

Still, we're warm, we have food, albeit plain, and there's still 1/2 a bottle of whiskey in the cupboard. What more could one want?

Exactly, Christmas isn't the trimmings and the food.

Being snowed in sounds very exciting though! We never see so much as a flake at Christmas, and not much the rest of the year.

Got your card today. It probably arrived before Christmas but this is the first day we ventured out to walk down the road to the mailbox.

The card is lovely. One of these days I'll hand-make my cards. I always seem to be in the midde of a project when it's time to do that, though.

>>Being snowed in sounds very exciting though!

It's been a bit scary, actually. We often have between an inch to a foot of snow around Christmas, and that's nice. This storm is more than the Northwest is prepared for, though. We don't have the equipment to keep the roads clear, keep the electric power running for everyone, and the stores are actually running out of food.

The temperature's starting to rise, and we're seeing melting, but are praying it won't happen too fast because then we'll have flooding.

We've been lucky--we've had power outages (which means I haven't been on the PC much, for fear an outage would take it down), but it's come back on before the house grew too cold, and we've had to do a lot of cuddling. I'm hoping we don't have anymore storms like this, but I've taken advantage of it while it's here.

I found making the cards all year round was the only way of making enough!

I thought we were bad, it only takes about an inch to throw us into chaos. I hope things have improved by now. At least you had someone to snuggle with.

I've actually had my head down writing! I have finished the next chapter of the WIP, it just needs going through to polish it up. Are you going to be around to take a look?

Hurrah! She writes!

I am back to work Monday but I'll look at it in the afternoon when I get home. I'm looking forward to it.

Hopefully. it'll be ready for then. I just need to read through to see if I haven't overcooked things.

Wishing a Happy Christmas to you both!

Thanks, I hope yours was a good one.

Thank you, and merry Christmas to you too!

I hope you had a good one!
