Barbie Buffy Part 3

September 26th, 2011: I haven't forgotten this silly project!

I've had some issues with laziness and not quite having suitable outfits, but I think this is about there.

As requested by quinara and shapinglight

The fires aren't burning very bright and some imagination is required for Spike's hair I'm afraid.

You can still request a scene here. Non-Buffy requests totally encouraged!

Heeeeeeee!! I can't believe you actually went with (untreated) string for Angel's hair! And I do like Barbie!Dru and Barbie!Darla's coats; it's funny how what is essentially the same facial expression looks manically cheery on Dru and cunningly sinister on Darla...

I'm not sure how similar their expressions are. Let's compare and contrast:

I suppose they aren't exactly the same... They do look remarkably similar, though, even if Darla does have the head-tilt working for her.

Dru bends more though.

There is a wealth of Barbie heads (in fact neither of these is meant to be Barbie herself, just her friends). The things I have learnt!

I know the average eight-year old and I know that to be true. I know Darla is a Fashion Fever Drew(!), Dru is a first run Sporty Fashionista and Angel is a second run Sporty fashionista (who looks the spit of someone I went to school with).

Was this person you went to school with actually a sporty fashionista, or have they just been grossly misrepresented by Mattel?

This is just... neat. Especially Angel's new hairstyle. And I see that Spike's carrying around that barrel just so he can jump sexily over it.

We've been playing with dollies over at West Side Story as well.

Oooh. I know very little about West Side Story, but I love the backgrounds! Especially that chainlink. I have a wastepaper basket that would do that nicely!

Angel's wig wouldn't stay on.

Yeah, I know what they mean. I think the bin is very similar, it's just the size that's a bit awkward.

I might have to do some research for Walk Through the Fire, I've forgotten exactly how the fence comes in - something Spikey I think.

Tiny bit disturbed by how much Dru looks like Dru. Surely not the look Mattel were going for originally? Flames and barrel add those vital finishing touches too. Heh.
